Product description
The wind direction indicator is designed to indicate wind strength and direction. It consists of a rotating mast, a mechanism with a basket enabling the installation of a windbreak (for landing strips and airports adapted for night operation), and a low-intensity obstruction light mounted on the top of the wind vane.
The rotating mechanism is based on double-row angular contact bearings, ensuring stable operation and resistance to longitudinal and radial forces. The weather vane’s basket is made of SS316 stainless steel. The weather vane can optionally be equipped with a twilight sensor that activates the windsock lighting and turns on the obstruction light fixture. The weather vane can be installed on metal and frangible masts.
